(Red) Reformation Party Pants

I shared with you guys my Los Angeles travel guide last week. I mentioned during that post that Reformation on Melrose was a “must” for any girl that’s ever drooled over these Insta-worthy ‘fits.

Usually, Reformation dresses would find themselves in my shopping cart, but I was always a little scared to pull the trigger. The Melrose store has the ultimate shopping experience because you could add anything to your “cart” and poof, the items would appear in your dressing room. It was seriously the coolest shopping experience and I saved it all on my stories.

These red party pants were just one of two things I picked up. My flower Zara top is an oldie, but I’m linking to similar ones at the end of the post.

The pants are very high waisted with a wide leg, so I was nervous it would shorten me more. Simply adding a bit of height with kitten heels are easy and elongate my legs. I will most likely wear them with white sneakers for a more casual look as well. They’re so versatile and I highly recommend if you’re looking for spring/summer statement pants. They’ll be great for the office with heels or sneakers for the weekend.

First, this color, – RED! The pop of color turns your outfit from ordinary to extraordinary.

Spring Approved Blazers to Shop Now

A good blazer is a closet staple that can get us through these in-between winter/spring months. Really for me, the blazer is the easiest item to throw on and make my outfit look instantly upgraded. In this look, I’m wearing the most casual combination ever – jeans and t-shirt. But, the blazer upgrades the outfit to easily go from day-to-night. Just throw on some lipstick!

Whether it’s patterned, solid, or deconstructed, I’m rounding up the fresh options to throw into your shopping cart. My exact one is from Zara, but I’ve linked similar styles and options to take you right into spring.

oh hi there new year

To be quite honest the new year completely crept on me!  And I don’t normally get excited about a new year, but since 2017 wasn’t exactly my year – breakup and a new city. So I’m particularly happy to ring in a new year. This year, I will focus on the most important thing I should’ve focused on the last 10 months – ME.

After taking a short hiatus from social media this holiday season and after reading up on the ever-changing Instagram algorithm, I’ve decided to be more open this year. Who knows, maybe I’ll discover something I wouldn’t have found otherwise. And my lovelies readers, however small an audience it might be, I’ve decided to truly open up on this relationship. Because a good relationship does take some level of vulnerability and that’s exactly what I intend to do with whoever reads this. Read More
