Essential Fall Wardrobe Investment – DENIM SKIRTS

I’m still not ready to fully accept summer is over. And luckily for me, I don’t have to because I live in Texas again. That means I have to accept this weird weather time gap where it feels like summer and it shouldn’t be this hot.

That being said, I fully support keeping those transition pieces in your closet still. And the number one essential fall wardrobe investment is a denim skirt.

I purchased this skirt at the beginning of the summer (Insta looks here) and it’s become clear to me that it’s not going away. It’s perfect to pair with a cute silky blouse to turtlenecks and sweaters. I can totally see myself adding booties to make it more of a fall outfit than summer. See how I’ve paired it right now since it’s still hot as H#LL with full links.

Pleated Skirts For All Seasons

To tell you the truth, I first wore this skirt (from Zara) for my college graduation with an awesome crop top to match. At the time, it felt like a risky decision to opt for a skirt and top combo instead of a super cute dress for graduation, but who wants to wear what everyone else is wearing?

It’s stayed a staple in my closet ever since and I’m happy to share other pleated skirts on a budget for ya’ll.

Happy to answer your shopping questions and continue following me on Insta if you don’t already.

PLEATED SKIRT INSPIRATION (not what I’m wearing)

Love a Good White Top

Need I say more? I know a good white top when I see one.

Love a Good White Top from Struggling Hipster Style Blog on a BudgetAnd this summer, I’ve had them on repeat. Whether it’s a casual day that turns into happy hour or out on the beach, I have a white top (also white linen) for everything. So I’m sharing with you guys some of my must-haves when it comes to white tops. They all just so happen to be from the same store – Brandy Melville. I know what you’re thinking – how can I pull off a store that’s one size fits all? But if you look close enough, you’ll be able to find your best basics at this store. Hence why all my best basic white tops are from here and I wouldn’t pick them from anywhere else.

Psst, they also make you look super tan and that doesn’t hurt 😉

Hope you enjoy!
